Free tour: Pristine beaches (help cleaning them)
Every Monday, from mid-november to mid-april, if the weather allows, we offer a free tour to the gorgeaus beaches of La Ensenada, north area of Holbox (from Punta Mosquito to Santa Paula). Volunteers from around the world get to see this beautiful pristine beaches while they help us cleaning it.
Marine litter is an environmental, economic, health and aesthetic problem affecting all regions around the world. In Holbox, because of the currents, gyres and eddies of the ocean, we receive in our coasts plenty of international garbage (especially plastic bottles). Be a volunteer on this free tour!
Did you know Holbox is a wetland?
Wetlands are vital for human survival. They are among the world’s most productive environments; cradles of biological diversity that provide the water and productivity upon which countless species of plants and animals depend for survival.
We need volunteers! Would you like to join us?
