Kayaking through the mangroves
An unforgettable journey among the majestic mangroves where you can intimately appreciate the beautiful landscapes, birds and even crocodiles. Enjoy the bird concert as you drift peacefully along the serene river.
A journey of calm discovery
that will leave your mind at peace and your body rejuvenated.
The tour
Our adventure begins on the beaches northwest of Holbox, between the Villas Tiburón and Villas Flamingos hotels, where our kayaks are waiting.
There you will get in the kayak and follow the guide as you paddle out towards the sea until we reach the entrance of the Kuká River. On the river, you instantly feel the atmosphere completely change, the mangrove water and air take over. Rowing here is usually pretty easy.
Our guides
Throughout the tour, they will give you tips and tell you about the wonders that surround you.
As we reach the middle of the tour we make a brief stop to hydrate, take in our surroundings and recharge ahead of continuing on with the journey. On this trip, you will see different seasonal birds including flamingos, a variety of fish and possibly even crocodiles that live in the area.
We will return to the starting point.
