Found 43 kilometres east of Holbox, we will find Cabo Catoche, a place of communion between the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, an area of beautiful landscapes, virgin beaches and unparalleled marine life.
Get up close to the wonderful marine life and its magnificent diversity: hawksbill turtles, octopus, lobsters and fish population.
The tour
We start our adventure at the Whale Shark pier, where we will set sail to the northern area of Cabo Catoche. An exotic journey where you see dolphins and other sea creatures.
Our captain and guides
Are experts and will choose the perfect point to fish, they will advise and transmit the most used and ancient techniques of bottom fishing (with strings, without rods) you will be able to catch good-sized fish to prepare a delicious ceviche.
You will then head to the Cuevones: a 2-meter deep zone, ideal for swimming and snorkelling with endless fish and soft corals. Uncover the hidden secrets beneath, cat sharks, hawksbill turtles, octopuses and lobsters.
Our final stop will be at a secluded beach where you can relax while the day’s catch is prepared into a delicious and fresh ceviche feast. We will then return through the mangroves ( tide dependent ) back to Holbox on the other side of the island.
Tips
The sun can be strong. We suggest wearing a T-shirt to avoid burns.
Sunscreen must be biodegradable and should be applied well ahead of swimming.
We cannot guarantee which marine life you will see. You have to enjoy it like a safari and let nature surprise us.
